2、 Spiral separator structure
The glass fiber reinforced plastic spiral separator is composed of six parts: ore feeding homogenizer, ore feeding trough, spiral trough, product intercepting trough, product gathering bucket and trough support (including cross or tripod)
The spiral groove connected by the spiral pieces is the main component
The spiral plates are made of glass fiber reinforced plastic (GRP) and connected together by bolts
The sorting surface of the spiral groove is provided with a prefabricated low wear layer

3、 Installation of screw separator
The installation procedures and requirements of spiral sorter are as follows:

First, check the quality of the glass fiber reinforced plastic spiral piece (especially the quality of the working surface)
Assembly can be carried out only when the size and shape meet the requirements

The connecting bolt holes on the spiral piece are usually pre drilled by the manufacturer
If it is not processed by the manufacturer, it is necessary to drill holes according to the same sample to ensure good interchangeability

Use bolts to connect five turns of screw plates into a group of spiral grooves, and place them horizontally
The smooth transition of the inner surface of the connection of two adjacent flanges shall prevail
During connection, pay special attention to that the surface of the lower plate shall not be lower than the corresponding surface of the lower plate
Along the radial direction
(groove width direction) shall be aligned from the outer edge, and the outer edge of the lower plate is not allowed to be inward
The purpose of this installation is to prevent ore flow splashing

The ore feeding homogenizer and the new product gathering bucket are connected with the tank support and placed freely on the support
Pay attention to the correct position according to the drawing during installation
Each row pipe of the Distributor shall be aligned with the corresponding ore feeding tank

Generally, the foundation of the spiral sorter does not need to be fixed, but it should be placed on four (three) plane foundations at the same level
After installation, check whether the vertical axis of the spiral groove is plumb, and add shims under the column to adjust the plumb
The screw sorter shall be provided with an operating platform at an appropriate height, and the screw sorter pillar shall be properly connected with the platform
