Because the volt ampere characteristic curve of zinc oxide varistor is flat (as shown in Figure 6-1), when the current changes in a large range, the voltage at both ends of the valve plate basically remains unchanged, which can effectively limit the overvoltage within the set range;

The low potential gradient (30V / mm) is easy to increase the thickness, has a wide range of options and high precision;
