usage method
1) Direct addition method
When the mechanical mixing equipment has enough shear speed or the colloid mill is added, the following material addition sequence is recommended:
I) resin / solvent;
II) wetting / dispersing additives;
III) pigment;
IV) filler;
Ⅴ)HFGEL-200B;
The key points of this method are as follows: generally, it is not recommended to add hfgel-200b immediately after the wetting dispersant is added
Once a large amount of pigments and fillers are added, hfgel-200b can be added
Only when the solid content is high in the whole formula, hfgel-200b can be added in front of the filler in order to promote wetting
Hfgel-200b complies with rheological rules, and the additive will not be affected by the increase of grinding temperature
2) pre gel method
In the use of aromatics or unsaturated polyester resin as solvent, HFGEL-200B recommends that pre gel should be used
Generally, 10% of the gel is recommended
If the pre gel needs pumping, then solvent or wetting agent can be used to adjust the viscosity
If HFGEL-200B is used to pregel in a solvent which is not suitable for it, a small amount of polar activator can be added
The amount of activator is HFGEL-200B 5-10%
Usage in grease:
(1) Add 1 / 2 or 2 / 3 of the total base oil into the reactor
(2) While stirring, add hfgel-200b (8-14%, total formula) and stir for 30 minutes until the contents of the kettle are viscous, that is, the grease structure is formed
(3) Then add the remaining 1 / 2 or 1 / 3 base oil into the grease kettle slowly in 3-4 batches, and add the next batch of base oil after the previous batch is fully stirred into the grease
(this can improve the consistency, colloidal stability and mechanical stability of grease)
(4) Add additives (the additives can be pre dissolved in a small amount of base oil or any batch of base oil in (3)) and continue to stir and mix evenly
(5) The lubricating grease in the kettle is homogenized through the grease homogenizer or circularly sheared under the pressure of 7-8kg / cm for 30-60 minutes to obtain the bentonite lubricating grease product
(6) Take samples for testing and pack them after the quality is qualified
For example, increasing the dispersion speed and prolonging the dispersion time will improve the use effect of hfgel-200b
