The ZB-B is a benchtop laboratory instrument designed to measure brightness, whiteness and related optical properties. Listed sample categories include paper, cardboard, textiles, coatings, chemical building materials, plastics, cement, food, salt, ceramics and cosmetics.
It may also be considered for suitable powder products such as starch and flour, subject to confirming the required sample-preparation method and test standard.
Supported measurement functions include ISO R457 brightness, fluorescent whiteness, tristimulus value Y10, opacity, transparency, light-scattering coefficient, optical absorption coefficient and ink absorption value.
