Copper wire and connector Copper braided straps grounding Flexible copper braids Copper braided busbar Flat copper wire cable for bonding Braid Assemblies are an economical and efficient means of protecting electrical equipment from the potentially harmful effects of: • Shock and vibration • Terminal or connection area expansion due to temperature changes • Movement of components • Misalignment that may occur during the service life of electrical equipment and machinery • Seasonal movement of outdoor equipment (common in substations) From shunts and power shunts to grounding jumpers, busbar connections, flexible leads, bonding straps, cable jumpers and flexible gate jumpers-braid assemblies are referred to by many names.
Material: T2 copper Cu-ETP 99.9% purity Size: customized Finish: bare or tinned Typical Insulation: PE heat shrink sleeve, PVC sleeve Flammability Rating: UL94V-0 Working Temperature: -50 to 115ºC Ampacity 40 to 1200 Customization Options The bus bar length, width, thickness, hole number and sizes, plating, bent at angle, combined connector, high ampacity requirements all can be customized as your request.
Structure Composition: 1.Conductor: Flexible braided busbar conductor mateiral is T2 copper. The single wire diameter can be 0.05mm, 0.1mm, 0.12mm, 0.15mm (0.15mm is standard diameter), 0.2mm, 0.25mm or customized. There are bare copper and tin plated copper.
2.Insulation: The common insulaiton for flexible insulating busbar is PE heat shrink tube. There is also special polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and thermoplastic elastomer (TPE). Or the insulation can be customized. Advantages: 1. Good flexibility ------copper braid provides multi axis connection and transition.
Tackling opposing alignments trough 180 degrees can be easily overcome with this type of design. 2. Long term life cycle. 3. Cost: extraordinary cost/performance ratip. 4. Absorbing movements and vibrations.
