The MZ-1000II / MZ-1250II is an IGBT inverter welding machine designed for submerged arc welding and additional industrial welding processes. The two available models provide current adjustment ranges of 60–1,000 A and 60–1,250 A. Both operate from AC 380 V ±15% at 50 Hz and have a stated 100% load duty cycle.
Supported functions include submerged arc welding, manual arc welding, carbon arc gouging, and melting-nozzle electroslag welding. The power source provides constant-current and constant-voltage operating characteristics. Its stated welding-wire range is 3.0–6.0 mm.
The recommended setup uses 3.0–5.0 mm solid-core carbon-steel welding wire for common carbon-steel plate over 6 mm thick where general weld-quality requirements apply. The wire-feeding system uses a double-wheel drive with adjustable elastic wire pressure to support smooth feeding.
Different welding carts can be selected for varying welding positions. Standard accessories comprise one coarse-wire flat-welding cart, one 15 m positive cable, one 15 m control cable, and one 5 m grounding cable.
Optional equipment includes a ship-form flat-welding cart, a light pipeline welding cart, and a melting-nozzle electroslag welding clamp. Both models have air cooling, vertical construction, IP21S enclosure protection, Class H insulation, and dimensions of 745 × 385 × 901 mm.
The MZ-1000II weighs 95 kg and has a stated input capacity of 55 kVA, while the MZ-1250II weighs 100 kg and has a stated input capacity of 69 kVA.
