Mineral heat furnace is also known as electric arc electric furnace or resistance electric furnace. It is mainly used for reducing smelting ores, carbonaceous reductants and other raw materials.
It mainly produces ferrosilicon, ferromanganese, ferrochrome, ferrotungsten, ferronickel, silicomanganese alloy and other ferroalloy materials, which are important industrial raw materials in metallurgical industry and chemical raw materials such as calcium carbide.
